The DogWatch BT-7 is a state-of-the-art bark collar that sets a new standard for high-quality bark collars. It offers an effective solution for controlling excessive barking in timid to stubborn pet dogs and working dogs weighing 5kg and above. The DogWatch BT-7 collar delivers static corrections at a level of your choosing or uses a ‘progressive’ setting that includes vibrating and static corrections. It is lightweight, durable, waterproof, rechargeable, and has a long-lasting battery life.
How the DogWatch BT-7 Works:
The collar is designed with a built-in vibration sensor that detects the vibration of your dog’s vocal cords when they bark. When your dog barks, the collar activates and delivers a correction through the contact probes to control excessive barking. The collar has five levels of static stimulation and a vibration-only option that increases in intensity with each bark.
Module Dial Settings:
O: Off
V: Vibration Mode – starts at the lowest vibration level and increases in vibration strength each time your dog barks. After 3 minutes of silence, the collar returns to the lowest level of vibration intensity.
1-5: Static Stimulations Level 1 to 5 – set the collar to the level that matches your dog’s drive. When your dog barks, the collar delivers a static stimulation at that level. Each level has three automatically increasing levels if your dog continues to bark. After 3 minutes of silence, the collar resets to the lowest intensity of the chosen level.
P: Progressive Mode – starts at the vibration only levels and increases through the static stimulations as your dog continues to bark. After 3 minutes of silence, the collar resets to the lowest vibration setting.
Bark Counter Feature:
The collar has a built-in bark counter that indicates the number of times the collar has been activated since it was last turned off. To accurately monitor your dog’s barking activity, turn the collar off and on before leaving, and when you return, check the LED status light found on top of the unit. The following amount of flashes indicate how often corrections have been delivered:
2 Flashes: 1-5 Corrections
3 Flashes: 6-10 Corrections
4 Flashes: 11- 15 Corrections
5 Flashes: 15+ Corrections
Note:
If the collar flashes more than 2 or 3 times, ensure that the collar is fitted correctly. If your dog continues to bark, consider increasing the intensity of the correction one level at a time.
The 7 adjustable settings include a vibration setting, 5 stimulation settings and a Progressive setting that begins with Vibration and gradually progresses from Low to High if the dog continues to bark.
When the dog barks, the level of the vibration or stimulation (for that setting) gradually increases. When your dog stops barking, the BarkCollar resets to the lowest level for that setting.
When the barking begins, there is a brief delay before the collar activates. This helps differentiate “acceptable” from excessive barking.
