Here’s how it works:

The PBC17-16000 bark collar has 15 levels of static stimulation and uses temperament learning to determine the appropriate level needed to control your dog’s barking. When you put the collar on your dog and they start barking, the collar delivers the lowest static electric stimulation level (level 1). With each successive bark, the level increases until the barking stops. The stimulation level that stops your dog’s barking becomes the starting level the next time your dog barks. For example, if level 5 stops your dog’s barking, the collar will deliver a stimulation at level 5 the next time your dog barks.

Please note that the bark control collar has a built-in safety feature:

If your dog barks 15 times or more within an 80-second period, the collar will automatically shut off for 3 minutes.

If you need to reset the stimulation level, follow these steps: Press and release the on/off button to turn on the bark control collar. Wait for 5-10 seconds. Press and hold the on/off button for 10 seconds. The green LED will flash 5 times. Release the on/off button to turn the bark control collar off. The stimulation level will then reset to level 1.
