The SportDOG SBC-10 is an electric bark collar suitable for dogs weighing over 5kg, which operates through vibration detection. The collar features 10 levels of static stimulation, ranging from low to high, which are appropriate for dogs that range from timid to stubborn. The collar is equipped with two modes of operation, including the Progressive Stimulation Mode and the Manual Stimulation Mode.

The collar operates through two modes:

Progressive Mode:

When your dog barks, the collar initiates a static stimulation at level 1. For every bark within 30 seconds, the collar progresses to the next level (level 2, 3, 4, etc.). The collar resets back to level 1 after 30 seconds of silence.

User-Select Mode:

You choose the correction level on the collar manually. The collar delivers a correction at the level you have chosen when your dog barks.

It is important to note that it is recommended to begin with level 1 and then increase the level if your dog barks through it. You can continue to increase the level until you find the one that matches your dog’s behavior. You should expect to see an ear flick or head twitch from your dog, and the barking should cease.
